What exactly are bed scarves?
Sometimes called by different names – footwarmer, bed runner– a bed scarf is a decorative accent that lays on the foot of the bed. Smaller and lighter than an entire duvet, these bedding accents simulate the look of a rolled duvet cover and are an effective way to add a visual statement piece, plus a little extra warmth.

Pro tip: Queen and King scarves still work with super size bedding! The drop of the actual duvet/comforter will just be longer.

Why use a bed scarf?
Eastern Accents bed scarves are hand-tacked with 1’’ thick batting inside (the same as the inside our comforters). This allows for a little extra warmth at the foot of the bed, and a plush visual contrast on top of the rest of your bedding. Scarves are particularly useful for layering. In a colder climate, a scarf adds warmth to standard bedding; in a warmer climate, pair a scarf with light bedding, like a coverlet or blanket, for added coziness that still feels breathable.
