Decorative pillow inserts
Our decorative pillow inserts are encased in crisp, 100% cambric cotton covers (a dense, plain weave), and have a double-stitched edge for extra durability. You have the choice of feather, microfiber, or a 50/50 blend filling, available in dozens of shapes and sizes. Our inserts are never vacuumed sealed, so they stay fluffy from the day they are crafted in our Chicago factory until they reach your doorstep.
Cloud Faux Down
Our Cloud Faux Down inserts are filled with an ultra-fine microfiber engineered to imitate the loft of real down. This high-quality filling will keep your pillows full for years to come, and are the perfect option for those with sensitivities to down. Cloud is the ideal choice for specially shaped pillows (round bolsters, cubes, etc.) because it holds its shape and stays upright. Microfiber does not need to be fluffed like feathers, making Cloud Faux Down a good choice for guest rooms, store displays, rental properties, or vacation homes.
Plume Feather
Our Plume Feather inserts are filled with 100% premium small white feathers, perfect for achieving the “karate chop” look. As feathers naturally sink and settle over time, you will have to fluff these pillows periodically, but you can also mold the pillow into whatever shape you desire. Plume Feather is our heaviest insert, giving a luxurious look and feel.
Bliss Blend
Bliss Blend inserts are filled with our signature 50/50 blend of premium small white feathers and ultra-fine microfiber faux down. This gives the pillows a perfect blend of loft and crunch, a happy medium between Cloud Faux Down and Plume Feather. Bliss Blend inserts are a staff favorite!
Comforters & sleep pillows
Our comforters and sleep pillows use higher quality filling than our decorative pillows, designed to make sleep as comfortable as possible. These products use down, which is softer than full-size feathers, and does not have quills that can poke through the casing.
Feather quality is measured by fill power, which is a measurement of how fluffy it is. For reference, regular feathers are about 300 fill power, while our down products range from 650-850. High fill power down is more lightweight and airy, which provides insulation without heaviness. Additionally, higher fill power down will compress to a smaller size, making it easier to store when needed.
We construct our down comforters with a ‘baffle box’ design. This method involves sewing pockets into the comforter to keep the filling from shifting around inside. This ensures that the down stays evenly distributed, so the fill doesn’t bunch up on one side. To keep them from shifting inside of a duvet cover, all of our comforter inserts have ties on the inside corners.

Celesta Luxe Down
Rest easy with Celesta's crisp 100% cambric cotton sleep pillows and comforter, our bestselling down products. Our signature domestic pure white duck down is locally sourced and thoroughly sanitized to ensure premium hypoallergenic quality. At 650 fill power, Celesta down inserts balance warmth with lightweight loft.
Rhapsody Luxe Down
Rhapsody uses the same 650 fill power down as Celesta, but is encased in a different fabric. Its 100% cotton Jacquard weave provides more durability and a smoother finish. This makes Rhapsody down inserts a good choice for any bed that will get heavy use, such as a child’s room or rental property.
Concerto Premier Down
Revel in the luxury of Concerto’s 100% cotton sateen sleep pillows and comforter. This silky smooth cover contains our highest quality duck down, at 720 fill power. Concerto down inserts offer exceptional softness and cloud-like fluff, designed for maximum comfort.
Libretto Prestige Down
Our finest down collection, Libretto uses premium domestic goose down, which both insulates better and is more lightweight than duck down. Our Libretto products are at least 25% lighter than our duck down products. Filled at 850 fill power with 100% cotton batiste covers, these products are light and airy without sacrificing warmth. Storage bags are complimentary with the Libretto collection, to keep your down inserts in perfect condition.
Loure Faux Down
Loure Faux Down is Eastern Accents' signature down-alternative bedding. We have developed this ultra-fine microfiber to best imitate the loft, warmth, and resiliency of natural down. Loure is simultaneously luxurious, water-resistant, and free of down-derived allergens. Our microfiber does not settle like real feathers, so these products will hold their shape without needing to be fluffed. Less need for maintenance makes Loure ideal for a guest room or a vacation home.
Warmth Levels
Each type of down comforter comes in three different warmth levels; Light, Medium, and Deluxe. We recommend Light for warmer climates, Medium for all seasons, Deluxe for colder climates. You know best how you sleep, so you may want to adjust based on personal preference!
Pillow Firmness
There are three firmness levels for our sleep pillows. We typically recommend Medium or Firm side sleepers, Medium for back sleepers, and Soft for stomach sleepers. Pillow firmness is a very personal preference, so this may vary from person to person. Add a washable pillow protector to help extend the life of your pillow!

What are pillow and bedding inserts?
Pillow and bedding inserts are the down (or down-alternative) stuffing that makes your pillows and bedding soft and fluffy!
What is down?
Down is the soft, fluffy feathers that grow on the undersides of some young birds, such as ducks and geese. These feathers are very lightweight and warm, and do not have sharp quills. They are ideal for filling soft items like sleep pillows and comforters. Down is too soft for items that need to sit upright and hold their form for long periods---such throw pillows--and will cause those items to quickly collapse.
What is faux down or down-alternative?
Faux down (or down alternative) is a specially formulated synthetic fiber, designed to mimic the loft and softness of down. It has many benefits, including being less expensive, completely hypoallergenic, and avoiding animal product.
What is hypoallergenic down?
Because down is an animal product, some are sensitive or allergic to it. It can cause rash or hay fever-like symptoms in these individuals. High quality down, such as the down sourced by Eastern Accents, has been washed multiple times to reduce the amount of allergen remaining in the feathers. Many individuals with down sensitivity are able to use this high-quality variety with no issue.
However, any claims to truly hypoallergenic down are misleading. Down is a natural animal product and can never be completely allergen-free. Some individuals will still experience symptoms even with down that has been washed and processed to the highest level.
What inserts are recommended for throw pillows?
Throw pillow inserts are typically crafted from duck or goose feather---or a synthetic alternative. Down is not recommended for throw pillows because it is too soft, and will not keep its shape. Feather/faux-feather blends are also popular for having the satisfying crunch and karate-chop look of feather with the ease of care offered by synthetic alternatives.
What is fill power?
Fill power is a measurement of down quality. Down gets its luxuriousness from the cloud-like structure of its clusters, making it simultaneously strong, warm, and soft. These high-quality clusters are said to have better "loft": they take up more space at rest, while compressing easily to a smaller size, without any crunch. In other words, high-quality down is very fluffy.
Fill power is measured by assessing how many cubic inches are filled by 1oz of down. The higher the fill power, the larger the down cluster at no additional weight. The highest fill power down is, simply put, the fluffiest.
