Eastern Accents is known for our full range of bedding and soft goods, but many people don’t know that our line also includes benchmade furniture. Like our bedding, our furniture is American-made by the expert craftspeople here in our Chicago studio. Rather than using an automated machine or assembly line, all Eastern Accents furniture is made to order, by hand. This allows our skilled craftspeople to oversee every step of production, ensuring the highest possible quality. Our furniture department is made up of small woodworking, upholstery, and finishing teams, all working together to create beautiful, one of a kind pieces.
Along with our first-ever handpainted bed, we debuted several upholstered ottoman styles this Spring — the same master craftsmanship, now on a grand scale. Three new oversized ottomans double as coffee tables, and a fully upholstered bench creates a striking silhouette. Crafted by our in-house woodshop and upholstery teams using solid wood frames and thick padding, each style can be customized to your liking — from fabric to wood stain to nailheads. Whether building our designer styles or your custom projects, we expertly bench-make every furniture piece with both style and durability in mind.
Our upholsterers line each piece with high-quality upholstery batting, then stitch your chosen fabric in place and apply any optional decorative features, such as button-tufting or nailhead detailing.Mesa Ottoman
Discover the timeless and clean silhouette of our new Mesa ottoman. At 40”x40”, the oversized square footprint can easily act as a coffee table, perfect for a living room or seating area. With tailored upholstery and softened corners, Mesa combines comfort and style. This versatile ottoman has three different height options: 17” with no base, 19” on a wooden plinth base, or 20” on bronze caster wheels.
If you visited our High Point showroom this past April, you may have noticed two Mesa ottomans on display. Pictured above, the custom-quilted upholstery is a stunning showcase of our workroom’s capabilities. Wrapped in our Foundry Denim flannel then tightly upholstered, this is just one option from our wide selection of fabric, wood finish, and button options.
Troy Ottoman
Embrace modern geometric design with our triangular Troy ottoman, this bold piece is both stylish and versatile. The triangle design allows for modular arrangements, ideal for odd-shaped spaces. A welt along the top makes a crisp edge and defines the angular shape. Two Troy ottomans are pictured below, upholstered in coordinating velvets and lined with Efren Black fringe trim. One ottoman can stand on its own, but an arrangement of 2-3 creates a statement seating area.
Petra Ottoman
The Petra ottoman gives a grand update to a classic round silhouette. Impeccably crafted, it is upholstered with a welted edge and your choice of wooden feet or bronze casters. This large-scale, 40” ottoman can be used as a coffee table or as the centerpiece of a seating area.
Pictured above is our Cristobal Button-Tufted Ottoman. Using a Petra base, this handsome ottoman is upholstered in real leather hide and woven houndstooth plaid. Its button-tufted top and gold nailhead detailing create a classic and traditional look that will never go out of style.
Fulton Bench
Make a statement with our boldly beautiful Fulton bench. This expertly upholstered piece boasts a hand-stained wooden base and simple, large features — ideal for showcasing a luxurious fabric. Shown below in Tudor Pacific Leather Hide, the Fulton bench allows the natural beauty of the leather to shine. Whether in a living room at the foot of a bed, this piece is sure to command attention.
